Year 6 were visited by Happening History to learn all about medieval life, spanning from the Norman Conquest in 1066 to the victory of the Henry Tudor at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485. As part of the hands-on workshop, the pupils learned all about medieval guilds, the weird and wonderful ‘medicines’ used, the introduction of new foods during the period, and the battles between feuding families, all while also having the chance to try different medieval clothes, armour and weapons!
