Year 6 boys have enjoyed investigating the Pop Art movement which is characterised by the deconstruction of images seen in popular and commercial culture between the 1950-60s in Britain and America. The boys created two self-portraiture studies during this topic. The first explored printmaking and the second included pointillism, a node to Lichtenstein’s use of ben day dots.
