Open Days

At Durston House, we believe the best way to find out more about us is to visit us! Our Open Mornings provide families with the opportunity to meet staff members, current pupils, and ask any questions you may have about the school. We recommend booking your place in advance as our Open Mornings are always oversubscribed.

Open Mornings

Our Open Morning is the perfect opportunity to explore our vibrant Pre-School, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 classrooms, meet our dedicated staff, and experience the warm, nurturing environment that sets Durston House apart.

These events are specifically designed for families considering entry into Pre-School through to Year 2. If you are interested in admissions for Year 3 to Year 7, we invite you to book a private tour by completing the form below.

The next Open Morning is on Saturday 7 March 2026.

There are two sessions to choose from:

Group A: 9.00 a.m. arrive ¦ 10.30 a.m. leave

Group B: 10.45 a.m. arrive ¦ 12.00 p.m. leave – session now full

Private Tours

Alternatively, private tours are available throughout the term on request. These are held during the School Day giving visitors the opportunity to see the classes in action, with children going about their daily lessons and activities.

Our private tours also allow parents to meet briefly with the Head, Mr Giles Entwisle to address any queries they may have.
