Bursaries
Durston House actively seeks to broaden access to the education it provides by offering financial support to pupils who might otherwise be precluded from joining the school.
The school is committed to the provision of bursaries (means-tested financial support), which may be awarded in the form of discount for up to 100% of the tuition fees payable, dependent on the financial circumstances of the applicants, and to assist with other chargeable activities for those awarded 100% bursaries.
Bursaries are offered to pupils who seek to join the school in Years 3-7. A bursary is considered after a prospective pupil has been assessed and deemed suited, academically and emotionally, to the expectations of Durston House. Parents complete the Bursary Application Form, which is then evaluated by the school to see whether any form of bursary can be offered.
Information about the provision of bursaries, and the procedure for applying, can be obtained from the Registrar.
