The formation of the St Paul’s School Group and its Research Centre marks a bold, forward-thinking step in ensuring the continued academic and personal success of young people in modern society. Together, our schools reaffirm their commitment to pupil-centred, not-for-profit education – working collaboratively to enrich learning, broaden opportunity and shape the future of education for generations to come. The opportunities afforded by being part of this Group will improve the educational experience of every single child within it, including the girls that are studying with us at Durston House.

All pupils will be taught in an environment shaped by the highest academic expectations, helping them develop habits of scholarship that will serve them for life. They will also have access to facilities, expertise and experiences that broaden horizons and spark passions. Most importantly, they will move forward not just as high achievers, but as confident, kind and grounded young people, ready to thrive in the wider world.

Something For All Charter

The Something For All Charter is a new initiative from the St Paul’s School Group. It is a simple but powerful idea: every pupil should benefit from being part of this partnership. Not just some. Not just those on a particular pathway. Every child. As part of this, we are delighted to announce the launch of the St Paul’s School Group Stewarded Pathway, a structured route to St Paul’s School at 13+ for boys at Durston House for whom St Paul’s is the right next step.

The pathway introduces two additional points of assessment between Years 3 and 8: an Early Offer, based on classroom performance, teacher observations and interviews, and a Year 7 Pathway for boys who show strong potential but would benefit from further preparation. These sit alongside our existing Year 6 and Year 8 examinations, which will continue as normal. Whichever route a boy follows, the outcome is the same. Boys who receive an offer through any stage of the pathway join St Paul’s on exactly the same terms.
